It is with great pleasure and excitement that the Save Cuesta Inlet board announces that after three years of fundraising, farmers’ market kiosks, and public engagement, we are in escrow to purchase Cuesta Inlet for the community!  Thank you, Los Osos and friends of the Inlet; you made this happen!

The agreed upon purchase price, $735,000, is the property’s appraised value. Save Cuesta Inlet has three months to raise the full amount plus related costs. To date, we have raised over $550,000 in contributions and a generous donor has pledged an additional $100,000 in matching funds to kick off our capital campaign.

Cuesta Inlet has been a treasured spot for Los Ososians and visitors alike. Our aim is to keep the Inlet waterways open for kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boarding. The Inlet will provide opportunities for all age groups and physical abilities
to experience its serene setting and beauty.

To preserve the Cuesta Inlet, financing is needed to purchase the property that is currently for sale; and funding sources are needed for the management and preservation of the Inlet for
the public.

Again, a strong public/private partnership is key to financial security.
